(Freeport) I worked for a year on Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest (Oscar winner) and Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End as Production Secretary. I managed day to day running of a very busy Production Office, processing work permits, dealing with Workers Comp cases, cell phones, phones, fax lines. I worked closely with the Bahamas Film Commission, created Welcome packs for crew, worked with Airport and Immigration officials to facilitate smooth movement of cast and crew into and out of The Bahamas. Found caterers for several different working locations. I was Production Coordinator for an IMAX film, "Flight of the Aquanaut", an underwater film featuring the atmospheric Dive Suit, NEWTSUIT. I hand carried rushes, handled permit applications, all aspects of production. Obtained permission to use endangered species in the film; returned to the wild unharmed. I was Consultant for an Emmy nominated docutainment film, "Dolphins, Whales & Us", program was catalyst for Starkist announcing "Dolphin Safe" labelling on their tuna products. I worked for 8 years at the Broadcasting corporation of The Bahamas writing, producing radio and television commercials.
